About Us
Inspiration comes from so many people, places and events. Some of them really good, some pretty bad. It's what you do with these moments that makes the difference.

It is my desire to help others;
  • express their feelings
  • to make the hard times a bit easier to get through.
  • to add some fun to an event
  • to truly personalize gift giving (not just put on someone's name)
  • to help make sure family and friends know how you really feel about them should something unexpected happen to you.

Just In Case was started with a thought, a nudge if you will. I have always turned to words to work through all sorts of situations and have found that recently I have been called to use my words to help others.  I firmly believe that God gave me the name of my business, right down to the logo (which hasn't been added here yet!).  All through my family's journey into christianity, I have felt called to do whatever I can to make others feel good or just feel better.

Company history
Just In Case is a family business. No employess, just me with some help from my husband, children and a few other friends and family at times. My name is Jena and I truly enjoy writing. Whether it is a short poem or a long story.  I like to create special gifts for people.  However, let me tell you the true story of JIC's beginning...

My father died in 1991, just weeks after my son (the only grand child he got to see) turned a year old.  When he died, it had been at least two weeks since I had seen him, so I wasn't there to say good-bye and there were so many things left unsaid between us.  I have had to live with the feeling that I had abandoned him when he needed me most. Well, a couple of years ago, we lost 3 friends close to us unexpectedly.  It was during this time that I was given the idea to create a way for people to make sure that,if something happened to them and they weren't given the chance to say good-bye, they would be able to leave something that tells their loved ones how they felt. Basically an emotional will...to leave behind something more than material items.  As this idea developed, others came as well.  I have done a 'yearbook' for our family reunion and written poems for people who have lost someone close to them. I decided that I enjoy it so much that I'd like to do it more.  So I hope as you come by and visit and see the changes being made, you will find something that interests you and we can work together.  The is definitely a word of mouth business so please share this with your friends and family.
 Personal Note:

I have also created a blog where I share more information about myself and offer the chance for others to come in and share their struggles, joys or concerns.

You can come visit me there anytime.  Just In Case You Need...
